When Hurricane Ian made landfall in September 2022, Aeret’s disaster response teams were already prepared.
Using Aeret’s hurricane protocols and OpenSpace technology, site conditions were documented early, accelerating insurance coordination, reducing disputes, and enabling faster, smarter recovery planning.
Aeret led stabilization and recovery operations, working in close coordination with DeAngelis Diamond’s construction leadership. Together, the joint team transformed the site into a relief hub, serving 300 hot meals daily to first responders and residents for three weeks while recovery planning advanced.
Despite access challenges and storm-related delays, the team delivered a comprehensive recovery in just six months, including redesign, re-permitting, and full site restoration.
